A for Adorable

Henry thought I was hilarious the other night when I was playing with him:

One Year Ago Today...

We found out that this little guy...

Would be a little guy!  (As opposed to a little girl).

Mark high-fived the waiter when we got the news.  We dined at Rasika, where they brought us a dish of ice cream with blackberries on top.  If Henry had been a girl, the ice cream would have been topped with strawberries.  I loved finding out that way, outside of the doctor's office, but still just Mark and me (for the most part, although the wait staff at Rasika was definitely cheering in the background).

I think for our future kids, I want to do the same thing.  I know "gender reveal" parties are in these days, but I really enjoyed getting to have a nice dinner with Mark, where we discussed predictions and names and then got a wonderful surprise at the end.

And what a wonderful little boy we have!  I know I'm biased, but I think he's just perfect.  Happy "Discovery Day," Henry!

Cutest Boy on the Block

Some recent favorites of my favorite guy:

In the dachshund longall my mom smocked for him!

Think Grandma loves him?!

I love the look of concentration.

Funny baby tricks.

So in love with this expression.

Lip smackin' good!

Here he comes!

Look at this pose!
He's certainly not starving, this kid.

Ha.  Did I interrupt an important phone call?
